Our client

Our high-tech client is a global market leader in the development and production of machines and systems for optical manufacturing.

Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordination and organization of active sales for a product line in the Southern Europe sales region (Italy,Spain and Portugal), combined with providing technical expert advice to international customers
  • Strategic development and expansion of long-term customer partnerships, as well as independent negotiation and drafting of complex long-term contract
  • Confident representation of the company at leading international trade fairs and industry events to generate new business contact
  • Proactive identification and realization of new market and business opportunities, as well as targeted implementation of effective go-to-market strategies
  • Responsible management of the entire quotation process, as well as preparation of precise sales reports (budgeting, forecasts, monthly reports) and well-founded market and competition analyses

Your Profile & Location Preference

The Opportunity: This role offers maximum flexibility. You act as the strategic face of the company in Southern Europe, with the freedom to manage your territory from your home base while staying closely connected to the German headquarters. 

  • Scenario A: You are based in Italy, Spain or Portugal and are willing to travel 3-4 days a month to the German HQ for strategic alignment
  • Scenario B: You already live in Germany (or are open to relocation) and will travel extensively to South Europe to grow the market
  • Business fluent Spanish is a must; English or German is required for internal communication, Italian is a plus
  • Completed vocational training or a degree (preferably in a technical, commercial, or related field)
  • Several years of proven experience in active international sales or a comparable role
  • A strong understanding of complex technical products and the interrelationships in an international sales environment
